In commemoration of this year's International Youth Day, members of a group, the Purposeful Leadership for Empowerment and Youth Development Association (PLEYDA) have commenced blood donation drive at the Isolo Local Council Development Area. The Lagos State Government has reintroduced History back into the state's education curriculum. The state government in a message to heads private schools in the state gave the directives that the teaching of History as a stand-alone subject has been re-introduced to schools. The Lagos Ministry of Transportation has placed an indefinite ban on the operations of its enforcement team tagged M.O.T Taskforce.
