Again, Lagos Relaxes Curfew

Following the relative peace witnessed in Lagos State after wanton destruction of property and killings which follow the #ENDSARS protest after it was hijacked by hoodlums that lead to the imposition of curfew, the state government has announced a further relaxation of the curfew imposed after the breakdown of law and order.

According to a statement by the state Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Mr Gbenga Omotoso, said the curfew will now be from 10 pm to 6 am.

Omotoso said the state Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu praised the residents for their coperation in observing the curfew order in the state.

He said, “Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu praises Lagosians for observing the curfew, which is expected to restore normalcy in our communities. He urges all Lagosians to go about their businesses in peace, even as they shun ‘actions that can threaten our unity’.”

“The Governor advises purveyors of fake news to stop causing disaffection among Lagosians, who are well known for being peace-loving and friendly.”
