APC Chieftains thank lawmaker over COVID-19 food stimulus


Apex leaders of the All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Isolo and Ejigbo local Development Areas have applauded the gesture of the lawmaker representing Oshodi-Isolo Constutuency 11 at the Federal House of Representatives, Hon Ganiyu Johnson for his COVID-19 food stimulus distribution to them.
Hon. Johnson gave 50 bags of rice to each LCDA- Isolo and Ejigbo, to cushion the effects of the lockdown in the State.
It would be recalled that Hon. Johnson has extended his stimulus package to various groups, both religious and tribal, the community development committee (CDC), all the thirteen wards in the Constituency, the SOS villages at Isolo and Okota, the market women, and many others.
Hon. Johnson while charging the constituents to take responsibility to protect themselves and their loved ones by adhering to social distancing and other guidelines, promise to continue with the stimulus package till the covid-19 becomes thing of the past.
Speaking on behalf of APC chairmen of the LCDAs, the APC Chairman of Ejigbo LCDA, Alhaji Fatai Kasumu, said Hon Johnson’s gesture to the party chieftains is unprecedented and that they remain grateful to him for this kindness at this hard time. He said the received food packages will immediately be distributed members of the council.
“The people in Ejigbo and Isolo LCDA will continue to bless the day they took that great decision of giving out their mandate to Hon. Ganiyu Johnson to be their party candidate for the House of Representatives in 2019 General Election because that decision has brought unprecedented developmental projects in the Constituency,” he said.
