APC Screens Councillorship Aspirants in Oshodi

The All Progressives Congress (APC), Oshodi-Isolo local government has started the screening of councillorship aspirants into the council legislature in the coming local government elections.

At the screening exercise held at its secretariat in Oshodi, the APC successfully screened 14 councillors in its first batch today, Saturday, 15 May, while the last set would be screened tomorrow, Sunday, 16 May, 2021.

The 14 councilorship aspirants screened on Saturday cut across Oluyeye, Ogunoloko
Igbehinadun and Afariogun wards while the remaining 3 wards, Mafoluku, Shogunle and Ewutuntun wards hold tomorrow.

In their unanimous voice, the aspirants applauded the screning committee for being fair to all in the screening process.

While speaking with The Blisss News, the acting chairman of the APC, Hon Animashaun Saheed Kolawale, commended screening committee and the aspirants for their conduct and show of comradeship.

He said the aspirants attitude further show that the APC in Oshodi is one big family.

He said, “we thank the screening committee for a job well done. They have been fair to all the aspirants screened so far.

I equally commend the aspirants for their peaceful conduct and show of one love to one another.

As the screening continues tomorrow, we believe the committee will remain fair to all the aspirants.”
