Centre launches virtual teacher to aid students learning

Touched by the effect of the closure of schools nationwide due to coronavirus pandemic, has on students, a centre, Ridoh Private Tutors has launched a virtual leanring tool to aid students learn even as they remain at home.

The virtaul learning tool tagged Virtual Teacher is produced to ease learning of students while staying at home as schools remain closed.

Speaking on the motive for producing the virtual learning DVD, Chief Executive Officer of the centre, Ridwan Busari, said the sitaution the country and world as a whole neccessitated the need to devise a means to teach the students.

He said: “In the month of March, 2020, the Federal government of Nigeria announced its decision to close all schools thereby making students idle for a longtime as a reeult of the COVID-19.

Therefore, it has become important to devise new ways and strategies to help students learn at home and this has informed our decision at Ridoh’s Private Tutor to produce The Virtual Teacher”.

Busari said Virtual Teacher as a tool explains the nitty grity of topics in Mathematics and English Language for pupils in primary 3 to 6 and Junior Secondary School 1 – 3 students.

“The Virtual Teacher is a DVD which contains explanation of topics in Mathematics for pupils in Basic 3, 4 and Common Entrance and Mathematics and English language for students in JSS 1, 2 and 3 With inclusive and interactive class sessions, revision exercises and do it yourself analysis for the better understanding of students,” he said.

The DVD has been launched and it is available at an affordable cost nationwide.
