COVID-19: 238 new cases confirmed, Nigeria now has 2,170


The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, reported that 236 new cases of the COVID-19 has been confirmed making the total confirmed cases in the county now 2,170.
The 238 new cases is the highest so far confirmed in a day since the outbreak of the coronavirs pandemic in the country.
Out of the confirmed cases, Kano Stste now still takes the lead with 92 cases followed by Federal Capital Territory 36.
The NCDC as at 11:00pm Friday on its official twitter handle NCDC @NCDCgov stated that 238 new cases have been confirmed with 351 discharged cases and with jump in death rate 68 deaths.
