COVID-19: Finally, Kogi records 2 cases as NCDC confirms 389 new cases

Kogi state has now finally joined the league of states with COVID-19 as the state records two cases when the NCDC reported confirmation of 389 new cases in the country yesterday.


Kogi state has never reported any case since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in the country.


With the newly release recorded cases in the country, Lagos State has the highest record with 256 new cases.


The NCDC said with the new cases a total of 8,733 infectious cases have been confirmed in the country while a total of 2,501 have been discharged from the various isolation centres in the country with a total death rate at 254.
