COVID-19: Lagos in 2 consecutive days records low, FCT takes the lead

For two consecutive days in a roll, Lagos State an epicentre of the deadly infectious coronavirus disease, has a record low of the infection leaving the Federal Capital Territory to take the lead on high daily records.

According to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Lagos recorded 65 while FCT has 130 of the total new cases of 386 confirmed on Saturday.

From the newly confirmed cases, a total of 43,537 persons have contracted the virus while 20,087 of these have been discharged and reunited with their families and society.

The disease control body also disclosed that a death rate of 883 has sadly been recorded in the country from all its isolation centres.

NCDC tweeted daily record of COVID-19 on Saturday thus:
