COVID-19: Lagos records 38 new cases as NCDC confirms 260

For the first time since outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic in Nigeria, Lagos State recorded least figure with just 38 cases as the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) confirmed 260 new cases on Sunday.

Abia state took the highest newly recorded cases with 67 followed by Federal Capital Territory with 40 cases.

The NCDC stated that with the new cases, the total confirmed infectious disease in the country is now 12,486 whole a total 3,959 cases have been discharged after recovery from the virus and a total of 354 death cases have been reported across all the isolation centres in the country.
