COVID-19: Nigeria hits 44,129 as 288 new cases confirmed

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), has reported that 288 new cases of the highly infectious coronavirus pandemic were confirmed in the country on Monday.

The disease control body said with the new cases, Nigeria’s total caseload of the virus is 44,129 while a record of 20,663 patients has been discharged with 896 deaths across all isolation centre in the country.

Of the new caseload, Lagos State has 88 followed by Kwara with 33 and Osun 27 respectively.
