COVID-19: Nigeria now has 40,532 as NCDC records 555 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control has said 555 new cases of the coronavirus pandemic was recorded in Nigeria on Sunday making a total of 40,532 infectious cases in the country.

The disease control body reported a that a total of 17,374 patients have been treated and discharged while a devastating figure of 858 deaths have been recorded so far in all the isolation centres in the country.

Of the newly recorded cases, Lagos has 156, Kano 65 and Ogun 57.
