COVID-19: Nigeria records 124 new cases

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has said 124 new cases of the novel coronavirus pandemic was recorded in the country on Thursday, 3 September, 2020.

It stated further that with the newly confirmed cases, the total infectious disease in Nigeria is now 54,588 with a 42,627 discharged cases and 1,048 deaths.

According to the disease control body in Nigeria, active cases of COVID-19 is 10,912 across all the isolation centres in the country.

Given details of the new cases state by state, NCDC stated that the 124 new cases are reported from 13 states- Lagos (42), FCT (25), Katsina (14), Kaduna (11), Kwara (8), Ondo (7), Delta (4), Anambra (3) Oyo (3), Edo (2), Ogun (2), Osun (2), Cross River (1)
