COVID-19: Trump calls Buhari, pledges support for Nigeria

The presidency has stated that the United States President, Donald Trump had a telephone conversation with President Muhammadu Buhari in the early hours of Tuesday.
According to the ministry of Information and Culture, the conversation centred on COVID-19 and how the US can support Nigeria’s effort at curtailing the spread of coronavirus.
“President @MBuhari today had a phone conversation with President Donald Trump, at the request of the American President.
The conversation centred on Nigeria’s response to the #COVID19 pandemic, President Trump pledged US support and solidarity,” the ministry tweeted.
