Eid-el-Kabir: Kendoo Felicitates with Muslims, Calls for Moderation in Celebration

All Progresssives Congress (APC) chairmanship candidate in the forthcoming local government election of Oshodi-Isolo Local government in Lagos, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede, has warmly felicitated with muslim faithfuls on the celebration of year 2021 Eid-el-kabir.

Oloyede popurlary known as Kendoo urged Islamic faithful to emulate the prophet by imbibing the spirits of love, peace and sacrifice as displayed by the prophet.

The chairmandhip chairman candidate made the call in his sallah message to muslims while addressing journalists in his campaign office at Oshodi.

He reminded Muslims that Eid-el-adha is not all about eating of rams and festivities, but the Islamic tenets of peace and total submission to the will of Allah should also be imbibed by all.

“As we celebrate this year’s Eid-el-adha, I want to associate and celebrate with our muslim faithfuls all over the world and Oshodi-Isolo Local government area, in particular. I urge you all to embrace the lessons of peace and sacrifice as exemplified by the holy prophet.

As we congregate for prayers and celebration, I strongly urge you not to lower your guards; we must continue to wear your face masks, observe physical distancing and frequent hand washing, more so because of the third wave of COVID-19 that is still very much around with us,” he said.

“As we also go into the local government elections in the coming days, I plead with our people to maintain their high level of love and support and also turn out enmasse on the day of the elections in order to vote all the candidates of APC. “We promise to perform to the best of our ability and not disappoint them. Our policies and programs will positively impact on their lives and businesses,” he concluded.
