It was horrific scene in the Badagry area of Lagos as seven children were found dead in a vehicle in the early hours of Sunday.
The vehicle where the children were found dead belong to a woman in the Ja Michael area along Badagry Expressway, behind Area K Police Command, Lagos.
A source told our correspondent that the children, all from the North, were returning from Islamic school on Saturday when they went missing.
Four of the children are siblings from the same while the three belong to another family.
According to the source, a search party found the seven children dead in a vehicle belonging to a grandmother known as Saliat Kazeem who lives alone in the area.
The woman has been detained by the police who said that she is behaving like a mental patient.
However, the police said they are investigating a case of possible suffocation and not murder.
