Islamic Cleric Urges Sustained Religious Harmony

The Chief Imam of Ibukun Oluwa Central Mosque and Founder of Ma’aduta’leem Arabic and Islamic studies Ejigbo Lagos, Alhaji Ahmad Tijani Arikewulo has urged Nigerians sustained the relative harmonious relationships existing between the religious circles in the country.

Arikewulo gave the advice during school’s annual Maulud Nabbiyi in Ejigbo on Sunday.

He commended Muslim and Christian leaders in the country for promoting religious harmony and urged them not to relent in their effort at building a better society.

The Imam enjoined the people to be their brothers’ keepers at all times, this he said will help in building a more cordial and harmonious relationship that bring development.

Arikewulo also advised that the virtues of Prophet Muhammad should be emulated through the showing of love and affection to all, especially the needy.

He also called on all Nigerians to keep to the safety protocols of the COVID-19 pandemic an outlined by the government and be ready to make more sacrifices for the development of the country.

He said, “Nigerians should be prepared to make sacrifice in these trying times to make the county better for all.”
