Kendoo Surprises Traffic Warden with Gifts, Cash

The executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede (aka Kendoo), has gifted a traffic warden, Mr Rasheed Fashina, a pack of noodles, bag of rice and cash in appreciation of his diligence and hard work.

The gift was presented on behalf of the council boss by the Chief of Staff, Mr Leke Banjoko, and other party dignitaries.

The CoS while presenting the gifts, noted that “the executive chairman, seeing the diligence and hard work of Mr Fashina has directed that the gifts be presented to him with the token in appreciation of his hard-work, urging him to continue to give his best in service to the community”.

Mr Fashina appreciated the council boss for the kind gesture which he described as a surprise to him.
He said; “I am extremely happy and surprised by this good gesture of the chairman. I have been controlling this traffic for close to 19 years and no chairman has ever looked at my side let alone surprised me with this kind of foodstuffs and cash gift”.

He prayed that “may God continue to bless the chairman for his kind gesture to him and may God crown his efforts with glory”.

As he appreciated the gestures of the council boss, Fashina still appeal for uniform and further enabling environment to help him carry our his functions more effectively.

Mr Fashina has been directing traffic on Adeyemi street and Arowojobe junction along with other major streets junction in Oshodi for more than 18 years now.
