The Lagos State government has asked civil servants in grade levels 1- 12 in the state to resume on Monday, 2 November, 2020.
The state government in a statement signed by the Head of Service, Mr Hakeem Muri-Okunola, said the decision is based on the recommendation of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and the state’s ministry of health.
The statement reads in part, “Sequel to the informed recommendation of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and the state ministry of health on same. It is hereby notified for general information that Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has approved that all public servants on salary grade levels 1-12 who were directed to work from home since March 2020, are now to resume at the office effective from Monday, 2 November, 2020.”
Muri-Okunola urged that all health protocols must be observed by all in their various offices as they resume duty.
