Lagos commends Mrs Fausat Adegeye, public school teacher for initiating online lectures for pupils

The Lagos State Universal Basic Education Board (LASUBEB), has commended a public primary school teacher, Mrs Fausat Adegeye, for her singular effort at organising an online teaching class for primary 1 to 6 pupils at Ebenezer Primary School, Ifako Ijaiye, Lagos during the COVID-19 lockdown.
LASUBEB commended the selfless efforts of the Senior Education Officer in Ebenezer Primary School, Ifako-Ijaye, Mrs. Fausat Adegeye for initiating the free online classes for some school pupils on Facebook since the closure of schools.
While presenting the recommendation letter to Mrs Adegeye on Friday, the Executive Chairman of LASUBEB, Mr. Wahab Alawiye-King described her as a resilient worker that is capable of moving education forward in the state.
“As a mark of recognition of your efforts, LASUBEB wishes to commend you for the selfless service at ensuring that pupils in primary 1-6 acquire English language proficiency during the period of school closure” he said.
