Lagos community laments over 1 year blackout

Residents of Awoyemi Street area of Ejigbo Local Council Development Area (LCDA) of Lagos State have lamented over lack of transformer in the community.

They, therefore, plead for government’s intervention in providing a transformer in the area.

Some shop owners are grieved over the losses they incurred on daily basis, due to power outages, which has become a regular occurrence in the area.

Babalola Tiamiyu, a shop owner expressed his distress over the losses he encounters daily for the past one year, due to lack of power supply.

Fatimah Ajetunmobi, a resident also complained about the effect of incessant power outage in households, saying, “I no longer refrigerate my foods and this is making me cook more often than usual.”
She pleaded with the government and power generation and distribution companies to work hard on providing electricity to consumers.
