Lagos Compulsory Participation in LMS for Civil Servants

The Lagos state government has said participation in the Lagos State Government Learning Management System (LMS) is compulsory for all officers on Grade Levels 07-17 to take part in.

Speaking on the importance of the LMS to service delivery, Lagos State Head of Service, Mr. Hakeem Muri-Okunola said, it will henceforth be one of the criteria for the Annual Staff Performance Appraisal and Development (SPADEV) Report.

While expressing disappointment at the abysmally low participation of officers in the LMS, Muri-Okunola said the formal launch of the programme is to ensure continuous capacity building of all state officers as stated in the circular with reference number: HOS/20/Vol.1/058, which was released on 23rd May, 2020.

The Head of Service, therefore, implored all officers including those who have not received onboarding notifications to download Envivo i class App from Google play store for Android device or the I- Store for Apple devices and ensure they log in, into the website with their official email addresses as usernames to enable them to commence the e-learning process.

He enjoined all officers to adhere strictly to the directives, as non-participation in the LMS will, henceforth, attract appropriate sanctions.

Muri-Okunola urged officers facing challenges in logging to liaise with the Director, Administration and Human Resource, Learning and Development or the Information and Communication Technology officers in their respective MDAs.
