Lagos Police Boss, Odumosu, arrests scores for violating COVID-19 protocols

For clubbing beyond the curfew allowed hours, scores of clubbers were arrested on Saturday in different parts of Lagos by the state police commissioner, CP Hakeem Odumosu.

The commissioner in a self lead and supervised COVID-19 protocol order exercise, caught up with some clubbers at a lounge on Bode Thomas Street, Surulere area of the state around 1 am Saturday morning.

The police chief also arrested violators of the protocols and guidelines of the coronavirus pandemic in Maryland.

The violators were arrrested between the curfew hours of 12 am and 4 am imposed by the federal government.

While carrying out the enforcement order, Odumosu vowed that he would do everything possible within the ambit of the law to tame the tide of spread of the pandemic.
