Two weeks after the Babajide Sanwo-Olu administration announced his administration’s plans to embark on road and power projects across all wards in the state, Alimosho Local Government has begun to witness execution of such projects.

According to Ayinde Jamiu, the Special Assistant Media to Local Government Executive Chairman, Hon Jelili Sulaimon, the construction of Ashabi Ajaigbe street in ward C of the LG has commenced, while Ward E will be provided with a new transformer alongside installation at Remi Akande Street.

In his words, “Ashabi Ajaigbe, a 218 by 7.3 dimension road will experience drainage and road construction. The road when completed will link Fatai Steeet and Bameke road.”

“In ward E, the people of Remi Akande, Ganiat Alayaki, Isiba Oluwo among others who had been having power issues for the past fifteen years will now experience constant power supply.”

The projects’ commencement was applauded by councillors from different wards and other stakeholders in the local government.

“The projects are expected to be completed in eight weeks and they are handled by Lagos State Public Works Corporation” Ayinde said.
