Following the death of two students of Ojodu Grammar School on Tuesday, the Lagos State Government has ordered an immediate closure of the school to honour the dead students.
It would be recalled that a truck rammed into the students at the frontage of the school yesterday where two of them were reported dead on the spot while twelve others were severely injured, now being attended to at various hospitals.
The state government asked the students of the school and all the schools within the same complex to go home until the resumption of schools next year.
Lagos schools are to shut down for the Christmas holidays Friday next week, but following the accident at Grammar School bus stop yesterday that claimed the lives of some students, the government ordered the closure of the four secondary schools located in the Ojodu Grammar School complex.
Many parents had this morning besieged the schools demanding the release of their wards. Many of the parents were seen searching for their children who they claimed had not been seen since the accident yesterday.
