The Chairman of Isolo local council development area (LCDA), Otunba Adebayo Olasoju, has joined other party faithfuls to felicitate with the former State Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Lagos State, Barrister Henry Oladele Ajomale as he clocks 77 today.
The council boss in a press statement he personally signed, described the elder statesman as a ”Baba Party” whose selfless humanitarian traits and desire to positively impact lives stand him out.
He described Ajomale’s birth and impactful existence which began on this day in 1944 as a blessing to humanity as he extolled his humane, unassuming, sociable, kind, caring, philanthropic, selfless and down-to-earth nature which have made him a political torchbearer whose diplomatic career boasts of impressive and inspiring records typical of an emulable political leader.
The statement reads in part: “The entire world is today in joyous mood celebrating a man who has successfully carved a niche for himself as a diplomat, administrator and political leader.
“Of course, a million others were born this same day as otunba Ajomale, one thing that, however, stands “Baba Party” out is his passion to selflessly impact people’s lives positively in all the positions he has meritoriously served.
A fulfilling diplomatic career has since had the legacies and accomplishments therefrom dwarfed by sparkling, easily discernible and incontrovertible achievements and records as a political leader. Minced words it will amount to, therefore, if anyone says Otunba Ajomale’s birth is rather a mere occurrence and not a blessing to humanity.”
He continued saying: “Anyone whose path and that of the “Onilegbale of Lagos” has crossed over the last two decades could attest to the humane, unassuming, sociable, kind, caring, philanthropic, selfless, down-to-earth and above all, God-fearing nature of our political torchbearer. Chief Ajomale’s back was, and remains, the conveyor belt on which several young politicians rode to political stardom especially in oshodi/Isolo LGA and Lagos State on a larger scale.
“Sir, without being economical with the truth, our party owes it a duty to eternally thank God, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and yourself for sailing our ship through the “Papa Deceive Pikin” (PDP) tsunami that saw other south-west states criminally taken over in 2003. Your steady rise politically could be attributed to your steadfastness and commitments which saw you leading our party to victory in most of the elections superintended by you as state chairman. Your rise to the position of Chairman of States Chairmen never came to us as a surprise. How else could one describe you Sir? Other than a religious crusader going by your sustained desires to see your house of worship develop steadily.”
Olasoju prayed that the years ahead be ever-prosperous, continually impactful and free of worries for the elder statesman.
