The Oshodi-Isolo local government chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede, has celebrated his birthday in a very unusual way as he celebrated in a very low key.
In his usual way, the council boss before become the number one citizen of Oshodi-Isolo local government would have organised a birthday bash for al and sundry to wine and dine, but this year he said, his birthday was to be celebrated by his family members only to show prudent in his handling of government funds in his control.
Oloyede continually post on his Facebook page saying, ‘family first’ as he marks his birthday on Saturday.
Despite his choice of low key celebration with his immediate family, some members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) party loyalists and friends visited him at home to share in his joy and rejoice with him on reaching another milestone in his life.
Residents of the council could not hide their joyful feelings as they pour out birthday greetings on different social media platform to celebrate with the council boss
Notable among party leaders that sent greetings to the council boss included the party chairman, Hon Saheed Animashaun, former council chairmen, Elder Samuel Aina and Hon Bolaji Muse-Ariyoh.
The purgation of birthday greetings by the residents according to them was due to his unprecedented infrastructural development and people friendly projects.
