The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government, Hon. Idris Bolaji Muse Ariyoh has congratulated Otunba Kehinde Oloyede (Kendoo) on his victory at Saturday’s primary election of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Council Boss in a congratulatory message released by his media office described the victory as the will of God which is supreme.
Ariyoh also congratulated councillors who won the party’s ticket on Saturday to carry the flag of the party at the coming local government elections.
The council mayor while congratulating the candidates, called on the party’s stakeholders to work together in love and unity for the progress of the party in the local government and state at large.
Ariyoh said Saturday’s election was the decision of the party and that the party is always supreme which must be adhered to.
He said, “election is all about the struggle for power while the outcome of the exercise must be respected by all as staunch democrats with respect for the will of the party.
“Election always brings animosity among groups that struggle for power but imbibing the spirit of sportsmanship will always give room for love and unity to prevail above personal sentiments for the interest of the party.”
He used the medium to call on all the rank and file of the party to jettison all the animosity that always accompanies election especially primaries as there is neither victor nor vanquished but we are winners as a political family.
The council boss wished all the flag bearers of the party success at the forthcoming general election.
