Over 300 Oshodi Residents Benefit from Animashaun’s Easter Largesse

There was excitement in the air in Oshodi on Saturday, April 3, 2021, as over 300 residents thronged the Oshodi-Isolo local government secretariat to receive the Easter food support package largesse put together by Hon Animashaun Saheed Kolawale (ASK).

Animashaun, an Oshodi-Isolo local government chairmanship aspirant under the platform of the All Progressives Congress said his choice of given food support to the residents at this Easter period was to help put food on the table of the less privileged in the society especially as the Christians celebrate the death of Jesus Christ.

The chairmanship aspirant seized the occasion to urge all Christians to imbibe the teachings of Jesus Christ and ensure peaceful coexistence in the country.

The elated beneficiaries of the largesse could not hide their excitement as they prayed for the successful accomplishments of his aspiration to become the chairman of the council.

One of the beneficiaries, Mrs Elizabeth Adeola said she was elated with the food items given to her.

“I am happy for being a beneficiary of this Easter food package by Animashaun, this will go a long way in helping the family in this Easter period. May God bless him and make his aspiration a reality for us to enjoy more dividends of democracy,” she said.

Also speaking on the occasion, the Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government Community Development Committee (CDC), Alhaji M Olawoyin thanked Animashaun for his well-thought food package for the people in Oshodi during this Easter period.

Alhaji Olawoyin prayed for Animashaun and assured him of support in actualising his chairmanship ambition.

“I commend you for this laudable project, you have put food on the table of the people, may you also never lack and may God make your aspiration a successful one. We will continue to support you in all ramifications.

Other beneficiaries of the Easter package included the physically challenged, Christians, women among others.
