Rehabilitation Work Commences on Adeyemi Street, As Kendoo Mobilizes LSPWC To Site

It was a pleasant surprise for Oshodi residents especially Adeyemi Street residents as the chairman-elect of the Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede (Kendoo) mobilised men of the Lagos State Public Works Corporation (LSPWC)to commence rehabilitation works on the road.

The LSPWC officials and equipment were seen on the street early Tuesday morning and have since commenced rehabilitation works on the road.

It would be recalled that the newly elected chairman of the Local government, Otunba Oloyede, while on his campaign had promised that he has started the discussion with the LSPWC on the need for the rehabilitation of one of the longest streets in the local government.

A resident of the street, Mr Shefiu Olanrewaju, while speaking with this medium, thanked the new chairman for his effort, stressing that he is starting his tenure on a positive note and that with this, they can be sure of the cooperation of the residents.

The new chairman had been working and lobbying to commence the rehabilitation of the road to improve the living standard of the good people of residents.

“I am happy that this road is starting as scheduled, we have decided that this road will be our first project to enhance the living standard of our people”, Kendoo said.
