Samuel/Olowoporoku CDA celebrates 430 Days

…. Chairmanship Aspirant, Animashaun, calls for Selfless Service

It was a glorious day for residents and executive mebers of the Samuel Olowoporoku Community Development Association celebrates the community day in grand style.

Members of the executive committee were decked in uniformed attire while no ln executive members were also gorgeously dressed.

Speaking at the event, Supervisor for Agriculture, Rural and Community Development and Sports, Hon Saheed Kolawale Animashaun, congratulated the committee and residents of the community for the progress made so far within short periods of time.

Animashaun, an Oshodi-Isolo local government chairmanship aspirant, advised the community workers to remain resolute in their determination to work for the progress of the community.

“You must remain resolute and deterimend in your quest to work for the success and progress of your community, as community workers, you may not be praised by residents but never be discouraged, keep on focus, they will one day appreciate your efforts,” he said.

Also speaking, Special Adviser to the chairman on community matters, Mr Ade Macarthy also urged the people not to give up in the work for their community.

“You should be ready to serve always, your work is a thankless job, you do it without expecting anything or thanks from the community,” he said.
Chairman of the CDA, Mr Bakare thanked all that graced the occasion and memebrs of the association as he read what the CDA has been able to do within the periods in office.

He said the executive was able to light up the streets and provided free tutorial classes for studnets of the residents.

While also speaking at the event, Chairman, Police Community Relations Committee, Prof J A Olatunde appreciated effirts of the association for their guant strides in ensuring development in their community.

Prof Olatunde also thanked Animashaun for his support towards the CDAs in Oshodi-Isolo, as he described him as a man of the community.
“We appreciate you, Animashaun, you are a man of the community,” he siad.
