Sanwo-Olu commiserates with family of Senator Muse

The Lagos State Governor, Mr Babjide Sanwo-Olu, has commiserated with the family of Senator Munir Adekunle Muse who died in the early hours of Tuesday.

The late Muse was one time Apapa Ports Manager and Chairman Apapa Local Goverment.

Sanwo-Olu in a message by his Chief Press Secretary, Gboyega Akosile prayed that Allah forgive the soul of Senator Muse and grant him eternal rest.

“Lagos State Governor @jidesanwoolu has commiserated with the family of late politician and statesman, Senator Munir Muse. The Governor prayed that Allah will grant his soul eternal peace and offer his family the needed in their period of grief,” he said.

“This morning, Lagos State woke up to the news of the passing of committed Lagosian, youth development enthusiast and elder statesman, Sen. Munir Adekunle Muse. On behalf of my family and the State, I commiserate with the family of the departed.

Senator Muse worked at NPA for more than 30 years where he retired to Lagos, first as community leader and council chairman in Apapa, then as a Federal lawmaker. His sterling leadership qualities earned him respect across the State and beyond.

A devout Muslim and committed family man, Sen. Muse was gentle to a fault. He believed in being strategic to achieve results. His death is a huge loss to Lagos in particular, and the nation in general.
May his soul rest in peace,” Sanwo-Olu said.
