Members and leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Oshodi-Isolo local government area, have staged a peaceful protest over an alleged selection of Hon Wale Adelana as party chairman for the local government.
According to the protesters, the name of Hon Adelana was never part of the names submitted at the end of the LGA election held at the local government secretariat that elected Hon Saheed Animashaun as the party chairman.
The protersters said, Hon Adelana never contested the position of party chairmanship in Oshodi nor did he buy buy for that purpose.
The party members said the name of Hon Animashaun as party chairman should not be changed and called on the Lagos state governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu to intervene.

The local government chairman, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede urged protesters to remain calm and assured them that he is on the issue while urging all to maintain peace that it is being enjoyed in the local government.
Represented by Head of Administration, Mr adewale Agboni, Oloyede promised to take their complains to the state governor as he assured them that justice will be done on the matter.
