The Executive Chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede has promised that he will assemble professionals in diverse fields as supervisory councillors, special advisers and special assistants to pilot the affairs of the local government in the next four years.
Oloyede also promised an inclusive administration, stressiing that the people will be the focus of his government.
Te council helmsman made the disclosure on Tuesday in his office while speaking with newsmen on his plans for the local government, insisting that he will deliver on his campaign promises, so as to justify the confidence reposed in him by the people of Oshodi by their overwhelming vote.
He stated that the youth being the leaders of tomorrow and the most productive segment of the society will be given adequate attention via youth reorientation and empowerment.
According to the council boss “for the sake of clarity, I want to state unequivocally that we are going to assemble professionals in different areas of human endeavors to pilot the affairs of our local government together. Special attention will be given to all interest groups and stakeholders, no one will be left unattended to.”
Continuing “like I promised during the campaign period, our youth will be the focus of our government because of their bidding energy that will be channelled to productive ventures. We will reorientate and empower them to be self sufficient. I am sure Oshodi will be greater than we met it, our youth, our pride, they will be given special attention.”
He also stressed that the infrastructure decay will be addressed promptly and that he will partner with the state government when necessary on the need to rehabilitate most of the roads that are in bad shape across the length and breadth of the council.
