Yayi’s Sterling Legacies in Lagos West

The Senator representing Lagos West Senatorial District at the National Assembly, Senator Olalekan Adeola Solomon’s performance in the periods he has been representing the district is second to none.
To many, it is what is he doing or what has he done for the benefit of the people he is repr re wanting. But a little look into his performances since assumption of office as a senator has put the records straight.

In analysing some of his performances, the Senator has been able to impact in low keys many lives of people in his jurisdiction of representation.

As part of the sterling performance, the Senator recently trained over 6,000 youths on different skills acquisition programmes and empowered them at the end of the programme.

The training which cut across fashion designing, hairdressing, barbing, leather works, catering services makeup, fishing and poultry farms among others saw to the equipment of each of the participants with different tools based on their areas of specialisation with a 50,000 cash to the participants in grants.

Yaya as he is fondly called by his constituents has also impact on Oshodi-Isolo local government as he installed solar-powered street lights in Salami, Dosunmu Streets and Sehinde Calisto Crescent.

As part of his life-transforming agenda, the Senator also installed a new transformer for the Alhaja Yemisi and Oseni Ewu streets residents along Arowojobe Street, Oshodi.

The Senator has also trained farmers and empowered them on farming tools, over 200 farmers were trained and equipped with seedlings, cassava stem, hoes, wheel narrows among others.

Senator Olamilekan has however promised to do more as he said the people’s interest is highly paramount to his heart and he will do all he can to bring more dividends of democracy to them.
